Sales Support Rep (Account Management/Loan Processing) (Equipment Finance/Long Beach). “A” Players Only!

Matrix Business Capital –Sales Support Rep (Account Management/Loan Processing). $70,000.00 to $100,000.00 plus! (Base Salary + Bonuses & Commissions)

IMPORTANT NOTE: You MUST be an “A” Player and a Dynamic person with a proven track record for success and you MUST be able prove it, If you are not an “A” player as described do not apply. We are only hiring “A” Players with a dynamic personality and tremendous people skills. You also MUST have a bachelor’s degree from a reputable 4 year college (NO EXCEPTIONS). We are looking for people who are honest and transparent, our process is very thorough, and we do verify the information we are provided on the resume and throughout the process.

What we do: We provide equipment financing and operating capital for small to medium sized businesses nationwide in all 50 states. We help vendors to sell more equipment by providing financing solutions for their business customers. We enjoy helping all types of credit customers get approved and we have a strong system in place for building, developing, and maintaining long term vendor and client relationships. We are great at thinking outside the box to get even the most difficult transactions funded.

We are having a record setting year and are ready to add an outstanding person to help us with processing the loans we are funding and to also help us stay connected with our clients and our vendors. You must be a polished professional who is detail oriented and punctual. You must be a dynamic person with strong worth ethic, an outstanding person, a champion, someone who is always in the top 10% of everything you do, who strives to be the best you can be, and who is constantly looking for a way to learn, grow, and improve as a person. We are looking to add an outstanding person to help provide leverage to our existing team and keep up with our sales growth by providing excellent service to the people we serve. If you have ever been part of a winning team or competed in division one college sports that is a plus.

Responsibilities: There are 3 elements to this position. 1) supporting sales. 2) managing existing customer relationships. 3) processing loans. The days will be exciting and ever changing. You will be held accountable to do all three responsibilities at the highest level.

Sales Support – This consists of prepping loan proposals for sales, prepping needs lists for loans to be sent to customers, ordering invoices from equipment vendors, following up with customers and vendors to complete loan contingencies, quality control calls after the transactions fund to confirm the customer’s experience was outstanding and gain feedback on how we can improve the customer’s experience in the future, updating credit files, customer service calls with existing customers on recently funded loans.

Account Management Existing Customers – This consists of following up with customers and vendors, updating customer contact information in the database, noting any upcoming finance projects, and updating credit files when new finance projects arise. This is done by a combination of calls, text messages, emails, and leaving voicemails to existing clients who have already financed equipment with us in the past or vendors who sell equipment and are referring us new customers on a regular basis. These are warm follow up calls with clients and vendors who have requested we follow up and check in with them on a regular basis.

Loan Processing – This consists of creating final loan documents, pulling credit reports, sending DocuSign agreements to customers, following up on loan contingencies to fund equipment and operating capital loans, preparing credit submissions to banks to establish credit approvals.

Skills Required: Must have strong people skills. Must be dynamic, positive, enthusiastic, and energetic. Must be good at talking on the phones and making calls to existing clients and vendors. Must possess the ability to leave positive upbeat voicemails, texts, and emails to customers in a polished and professional manner. Must have exceptional customer service abilities. Must be able to wear many different hats and be part of a fast pace ever changing environment.

Other Requirements: We require a 4-year college degree (NO EXCEPTIONS). Office hours 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday-Friday. We do business with the east coast so earlier start times are available upon request (We have people starting between 5am and 7am, each person chooses a schedule that best suits their personal needs and lifestyle as well as what is best suited to accomplish your goals, responsibilities, and commitments in both business and your personal life). Must be consistent and punctual. Must be able to come into our office in downtown Long Beach each business day (No Exceptions), this is not a remote position. It is also important to have good personal credit of 650 and above.

Compensation: First year income expected is $70,000.00 to $90,000.00, second year income expected is $80,000.00 to $100,000.00 plus, third year income is expected to exceed $100,000.00 plus. This includes a base salary of between $60,000.00 to $80,000.00 depending on experience and an aggressive monthly performance bonus that takes effect after an initial 6-month training period. If you have never processed loans before, if you have never done equipment financing, and if you have never been on our team, there will be a learning curve. You will have training goals and objectives as well as specific milestones to achieve each quarter in the training process and you will be held accountable for achieving those goals and objectives. If you have strong work ethic and a burning desire to succeed it is possible to be on a six-figure run rate once the bonus plan kicks in after just 6 months of being on the team.
